Job Purpose The Scholarship Advisor (KGSP) will work closely on delivering core KGSP program components, including program & event planning and implementation while bringing efficiencies to the internal processes and managing Program projects Major Accountabilities
Plan and administer, in conjunction with relevant Saudi and US based partners, the KGSP Summer Internship Program for KGSP students
Develop strong work relationships and communicate with KAUST faculty and academic administrators across KAUST divisions
Work closely with KGSP team members within Saudi and the US on different components of the KGSP Program, including, Critical Issues reports, Monitoring Reports, Reviewing Advising Memos, Enrichment placements et al.
Develop systems with effective use of information technology, including databases and spreadsheets, necessary to track and streamline processes
Generate all formal academic information and records via analytical/statistical reporting, and make recommendations for action to the KGSP Manager
Manage logistical arrangements for KGSP events such Students’ interview session, English proficiency test, Pre-Departure Orientation, KGSP Workshop, KGSP Staff and Student meeting, etc.
Work closely with KGSP Finance Unit regarding student financial matters and ensure they receive accurate and most up-to-date information regarding student academic status
Maintain and monitor KGSP application and KGSP program e-mails on regular basis
Respond to written (e-mail) and telephone correspondence from prospective applicants, scholarship applicants, recipients, and parents of selected and non-selected students
Deliver student onboarding support for KGSP students including: visa issuance, travel, document management
Create file/record for newly admitted students and maintain the documents in electronic format in the KGSP databases and systems
Manage student information data entry and maintain student information in SLcM accordingly
Perform other related duties as required

Fluency in English (oral and written)

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
Experience
Minimum of 4 years’ experience working as a program specialist or administrator within talent development
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in developing program modules for talent development or
University curriculum modules.
Applicable experience working with post-High School students
Applicable experience working in multicultural environments
Experience in maintaining accurate, confidential
