The Scaffolding Supervisor will oversee all scaffolding operations on-site, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with project specifications and industry standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to manage a team of scaffolders effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate scaffolding erection, modification, and dismantling activities.
Ensure all scaffolding work complies with safety regulations and company procedures.
Conduct site inspections to verify scaffold stability, safety, and compliance.
Prepare and maintain scaffolding inspection reports and documentation.
Liaise with project managers, engineers, and safety officers to plan scaffolding requirements.
Train and guide scaffolders to maintain high standards of workmanship and safety.
Manage scaffolding materials, inventory, and equipment usage efficiently.
Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions promptly.
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scaffolding Supervisor or similar role.
Certified Scaffolding Supervisor or equivalent qualification.
Strong knowledge of scaffolding systems, safety standards, and inspection procedures.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and scaffolding plans.
