The Role

The role provides support, maintenance and development of information systems to meet operational processing, data and information security objectives of the organization. Key Result Area-o System monitoring and periodic health checkup of SAS AML system. o Able to handle SAS AML Incident and provide RCA for the incident. o Good knowledge of SAS AML automation like ML and other scenario fine tuning tool. o Analyze business requirement and translate it into technical specification. o Participate in effort estimation and delivery planning. o Design and develop applications in compliance to functional specification and making specific determinations about system performance. o Preparation/Documentations of SDD and Writing unit and integration tests cases. o Prototyping and researching alternative implementation strategies o Code as per program specifications. o Monitor development of modules independently as per plan/ SLAs o Perform unit tests as per test plans. o Provide lead support during acceptance testing, implementation, and training for assigned modules o Ensure delivery of modules as per prescribed quality guidelines. o Prepare/verify production transfer documentation. o Perform root cause analysis (RCA) arising from production system disruption and gather required information and logs from the system for investigation. o Adherence to service calls SLA. o Ability to communicate vendor effectivity on issue and follow up. o Vendor co-ordination and follow up with vendor for resolution and closure of the issues. o Document results of tests and program specifications/ Technical Architecture documentation. o Deploy bug fixes in test environment and perform SIT. o Writing technical specifications. o Performing maintenance on the existing code base o Get the fix tested by users and take appropriate actions to move the change in Production with TPS team. o Accountable for the stability of all applications. o Ensure right level of engagement with architecture o Ensure the solution delivered meet business expectation, derive value and adhere to technology standards o Implement change management process for all change deliverables in Technology Operating Environment, Framework and Boundaries, Working Relationships-o Member of the development/ implementation team (including off- shore) working on assigned tasks, projects and it initiatives o interacts with members and other functional teams including members of the off- shore team o work with team members participating in shadowing and training activities o adhere to information controls and security frameworks/ procedures, including change and incident management process o provide general administrative support to the team including meetings, knowledge transfer and activity reporting o Review code and identify of programming errors o Investigate and understand the cause of defects raised. o Interpret, understand and resolve support issues o Responsible to deliver functional programming errors o investigate and understand the cause of defects raised o proactively rectify/ rework to minimize issues with deliverables which adversely affects the value chain



Requirements

Skill set:

o SAS AML 7.1 application Programming knowledge (BASE SAS & Advance SAS) - Mandatory o SAS EG & Oracle PL/SQL -knowledge in PL/ SQL - Mandatory o SAS DI, SAS VA - preferable o Basic Linux - knowledge of basic Linux Applications supported o SAS- Application support (Anti Money Laundering), Configuration & User management (SAS Administrative console) o Data warehouse Data Marts (ETL SQL) - DTS development, configuration, execution & monitoring (internal development) - Optional o Dunning process - daily process - full support (internal development) o Month end process - full support (internal development) o Working knowledge with software development methods and techniques o Good knowledge of and experience with UNIX OS, programming languages and development tools o Good verbal and written communication o Working knowledge with software development methods and techniques o Good knowledge and experience with OS, shall script programming languages and development tools o Strong technical knowledge in required application area. o Ability to review, understand and improve program code and system documentation. o Good verbal and written communication including ability to prepare system documentation. o Ability to interpret solution documentation and identify areas of concern and recommend approach. o Ability to multi-task in a dynamic work environment. o Ability to work on multiple projects with multiple deadlines o Ability to communicate clearly with business users and project manager o Ability to innovate and provide functional applications with intuitive interfaces o Ability to complete all phases of software development life cycle including analysis, design, functionality, testing and support. o Computer Science degree or equivalent Qualification
