SAP MM Consultant

Job Summary

The SAP MM Consultant is responsible for the

design, configuration, and implementation of the Materials Management (MM) module

within NCGR's SAP S/4HANA landscape. This role ensures seamless procurement, inventory, and vendor management processes while integrating tightly with

Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), and Sales & Distribution (SD)

.


The MM Consultant will work closely with business users, procurement teams, and project stakeholders to deliver an optimized supply chain and procurement solution aligned with

best practices, KSA localization requirements, and compliance standards

.

Key Process Knowledge

The consultant must demonstrate strong expertise and hands-on experience in the following end-to-end procurement and supply chain processes:

Procure to Plan (P2P)

- covering demand planning, material requirements planning (MRP), and integration with inventory and production planning.

Requisition to Fulfillment (R2F)

- ensuring smooth PR (Purchase Requisition) to PO (Purchase Order) cycle, vendor selection, approval workflows, and order confirmation.

Source to Pay (S2P)

- managing supplier sourcing, contracts, procurement execution, goods receipt, and invoice verification integrated with Accounts Payable (FI-AP).

Key Responsibilities

Configure and implement

SAP MM processes

to support procurement and materials management. Ensure smooth execution of

P2P, R2F, and S2P cycles

within the system. Work with procurement teams to optimize

vendor management, sourcing, and evaluation processes

. Integrate MM processes with

Finance (AP), Controlling, and Sales/Production

. Support

inventory management processes

including stock transfers and physical inventory. Customize

release strategies and approval workflows

for requisitions and purchase orders. Handle

special procurement types

such as subcontracting, consignment, and third-party procurement. Ensure compliance with

KSA public sector procurement requirements

. Provide

training, UAT support, and documentation

for MM business users.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education & Certifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or IT. SAP Certified Application Associate - S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement preferred.

Experience

6-8 years of SAP MM consulting experience. At least 2 full-cycle

SAP S/4HANA MM implementation projects

. Strong understanding of

Procure to Plan, Requisition to Fulfillment, and Source to Pay processes

. Proven integration knowledge with

FI-AP, SD, and PP modules

. Knowledge of

KSA procurement practices and compliance standards

.

Technical & Functional Skills

Proficiency in

SAP MM configuration

(Purchasing, Inventory, Valuation, Invoice Verification). Experience with

Vendor Master Data, Business Partner (BP) Integration

, and sourcing. Familiarity with

Ariba integration

for advanced sourcing and supplier collaboration. Knowledge of

Batch Management and Serial Number tracking

.

Soft Skills

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Analytical and problem-solving mindset. Ability to train and guide procurement and inventory teams effectively
