Role Overview
The SAP MDG Functional Consultant will be responsible for the design, configuration, and
implementation of SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions for Business Partner and
Material Master domains. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, data
governance teams, and technical developers to ensure high-quality master data processes,
governance workflows, and data quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the blueprinting, design, and configuration of SAP MDG for Business Partner (BP)
and Material Master (MAT) domains.

Analyze business requirements and convert them into functional specifications and
configuration workbooks.

Configure MDG Data Models, UI modeling, Floorplan Manager (FPM), Change Request
(CR) types, and workflow templates.

Define and implement governance rules, validations, derivations, and data quality
checks.

Coordinate with business process owners to harmonize data standards, governance
policies, and approval workflows.

Work with technical teams to design data replication, integration with ECC/S4HANA,
and interfaces with non-SAP systems.

Support Data Migration, Cleansing, and Initial Load activities for BP and Material Master. o Manage testing cycles (Unit, SIT, UAT) including test scripts, defect triage, and sign-offs. o Provide training and documentation to key users and data stewards. o Support post go-live stabilization and hypercare activities. Required Skills & Experience o Minimum 6+ years of experience in SAP MDG projects with at least 2 full-cycle implementations for BP or Material Master. o Strong functional expertise in Business Partner (Customer/Vendor) and Material Master data models. o Experience in configuration of Data models, CR types, BRF+ rules, Workflow modeling and FPM UI configuration, Validation & derivation rules. o Understanding of Data Replication Framework (DRF), ALE/IDOC, SOA, or Web Services. o Integration knowledge with S/4HANA, ECC, and external systems. o Good understanding of Data Governance, Data Quality, and Master Data Lifecycle. o Familiarity with CVI (Customer Vendor Integration) processes. o Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. o Experience with Agile delivery models preferred. Nice to Have o Experience with MDG Consolidation and MDG Mass Processing. o Exposure to Fiori apps for MDG. o Experience with Data Migration Cockpit. o Knowledge of Material Classification, Plant-specific views, and Extension scenarios. o SAP MDG certification is an added advantage. Education o Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent. o SAP MDG certifications preferred.

Pay: AED14,000.00 - AED14,500.00 per month
