The SAP Functional Lead (Procurement, MM & Supply Chain) will be responsible for the design, implementation, and optimisation of SAP S / 4HANA Materials Management, Procurement, and Inventory Management processes across the enterprise. The role spans end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P), sourcing strategies, master data governance, and supply chain integration. You will collaborate with procurement, logistics, supply chain, and inventory control teams to define future-state business processes using Signavio (or similar tools), ensuring alignment with SAP best practices and a fit-to-standard approach. Knowledge of SAP Ariba is a plus, to support future integration considerations and broader procurement transformation strategies. Accountabilities Lead full life cycle implementations of SAP MM, covering procurement, inventory management, material master governance, and supplier collaboration. Drive the design and optimisation of P2P processes in close coordination with procurement and supply chain functions. Conduct business workshops, gather requirements, and model business processes using Signavio or similar BPM tools. Integrate SAP MM with key modules such as FICO, EAM, WM, and external logistics platforms. Provide guidance on sourcing structures, approval workflows, inventory control policies, and master data strategy. Develop and maintain robust inventory management solutions, including stock monitoring, replenishment, and valuation processes. Support system configuration, testing, data migration, and cutover planning to ensure seamless go-lives and system stability. Contribute to carve-out and M&A-related SAP landscape transitions, minimising disruption to procurement and inventory operations. Produce high-quality documentation including process flows, functional specifications, training guides, and user manuals. Deliver hypercare and continuous improvement support, identifying optimisation opportunities across procurement and inventory operations. Provide input on future integrations with SAP Ariba and related platforms, where relevant. Education & Experience BacheloraEUR(TM)s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. MasteraEUR(TM)s degree or SAP certifications in Sourcing & Procurement or S / 4HANA are a plus. 8+ years of hands-on SAP MM implementation and support experience, with a strong focus on procurement and inventory management. Minimum 2 full-cycle SAP projects, with at least one S / 4HANA greenfield implementation. Experience with carve-outs, M&A projects, or multi-entity SAP rollouts is highly desirable. In-depth experience in MM integration with FICO, EAM, and WM modules. Familiarity with Signavio or similar BPM tools for process modelling and fit-gap analysis. Knowledge of SAP Ariba (e.g., sourcing, contracts, procurement) is advantageous but not required. Proven track record of delivering process standardisation and operational efficiencies.
