A leading organization is undergoing a critical technical transformation from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, aiming to enhance its financial operations and business processes. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP S/4HANA Finance Consultant to take on the role of Senior Product Manager. This position will be responsible for leading and managing the SAP Finance module implementation and providing strategic guidance throughout the migration, ensuring smooth integration of financial processes and operations in the new SAP S/4HANA environment.
The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience in SAP Accounts Payable (AP) and VIM by OpenText for SAP S/4HANA as mandatory skills, in addition to strong knowledge of SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules.
Key Job Responsibilities:
SAP S/4HANA Finance Transformation:

• Lead the transformation of finance processes from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, ensuring that financial data, reporting, and analytics are seamlessly transitioned.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand the existing SAP ECC Finance landscape and requirements for the S/4HANA transformation.
• Design and implement a comprehensive strategy for migrating and optimizing Accounts Payable processes with VIM by OpenText in S/4HANA, alongside other FI and CO functionalities.

Product Management:

• Assume the role of Senior Product Manager for the SAP Finance module, serving as the primary subject matter expert (SME) for Accounts Payable and VIM.
• Define the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and objectives for AP and VIM in S/4HANA, ensuring optimal invoice management automation.
• Ensure alignment of SAP Finance strategy with business goals, providing expert guidance to ensure AP and VIM processes meet business needs.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end finance business processes, with special focus on Accounts Payable automation, invoice processing workflows, exception handling, and vendor collaboration using VIM.

Stakeholder Engagement and Requirements Gathering:

• Work closely with Finance (AP teams), procurement, and IT to capture requirements specific to invoice management, approvals, and compliance.
• Manage end-to-end requirement gathering for AP and VIM while balancing technical constraints and best practices.

Solution Design and Configuration:

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Accounts Payable and VIM in SAP S/4HANA, ensuring integration with other SAP modules like MM, SD, and PS.
• Conduct workshops and validation sessions focused on AP invoice lifecycle automation and vendor self-service.

Testing and Validation:

• Oversee testing phases for AP and VIM scenarios, including OCR, workflow, approval routing, and exception handling.

Training and Knowledge Transfer:

• Provide specialized training to AP staff and finance leads on VIM functionalities, automation benefits, and process changes in S/4HANA.

Continuous Improvement and Optimization:

• Monitor performance of AP and VIM post-implementation, identifying opportunities for automation, compliance improvement, and vendor satisfaction.

Documentation and Compliance:

• Maintain updated configuration documentation for AP and VIM processes, ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal governance standards.

Collaboration and Team Leadership:

• Mentor consultants in AP and VIM, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality solution.

Risk Management:

• Identify and mitigate risks specifically related to AP automation, invoice processing delays, and compliance breaches.

Required Experience, Qualification and Certifications:
Professional Experience:

• Mandatory: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in SAP Finance (FI), with at least 3-5 years in SAP S/4HANA Accounts Payable and VIM by OpenText implementations.
• Proven experience in leading AP automation projects, including ECC to S/4HANA migrations with VIM enablement.
• Experience as a Senior Consultant or Product Manager managing AP transformation and invoice management in large-scale organizations.

Educational Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• SAP S/4HANA certification in Finance modules (FI/CO) is mandatory.

Project Management:

• PMP certification preferred.
• Strong project management skills, preferably with Agile delivery in AP/VIM projects.

Technical Expertise:

• Deep understanding of VIM by OpenText in SAP S/4HANA, including OCR, approval workflows, and vendor portal integration.
• Strong hands-on experience in AP configuration and integration with procurement.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori apps for AP and VIM dashboards is desirable.
• Familiarity with AP data migration techniques and invoice history archiving.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in the aviation or travel industry.
• Knowledge of financial compliance regulations in UAE and international markets.
