SAP Basis deals with the technical layers of the SAP landscape and is tasked with keeping it all healthy, including SAP enterprise cloud, database and applications. Also install updates and monitor systems for errors.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
SAP installation, maintenance and upgrades configuration for SAP, SOLMAN Configuration and upgrades.
Installation, Configuration, Administration and tuning of SAP Gateway & Fiori and SAP Netweaver Java Stack.
SOLMAN Troubleshooting and Configuration of Monitoring Tools
Act as a 2nd line support for key users in the respective modules for all company codes.
Lead the junior consultants and provide on job training and mentoring
Handling SAP Netweaver administration
Documentation for all support & implementation configurations
Managing access rights & TA for all SAP environment
Provide advisory & consultancy for business leaders to follow the best practices
Adhere to the company's policies and regulations, including its vision and mission.
Minimum Qualification & Experience:
Qualifications: Essential: a. Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or other relevant fields b. Minimum of 12years IT related experience c. Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP Basis d. Certification and experience in Basis HANA a plus
Language English fluent, Arabic is added advantage
Ability to work in multinational team supporting onsite / offsure users.
8 full cycle implementation projects, 8 support projects, 4 upgrade projects Worked in various SAP Release S4HANA 1909,1710 or 2020 Solution manager 4.0/7.0 to 7.2, NW 04/04s to 7.31 and SAP HANA
Have Solid Track Record in implementation of SAP System Landscapes on various platforms and SAP appliances like SUSE Linux and NT (Windows 2000/2003/2008 R2/ 2012) Operating Systems with HANA & Sybase Database.
Extensive Experience in SAP System refresh, Support packages application Add-on’s, OSS Notes, SAP router Configuration, System Copy of Homogenous systems and performed Kernel upgrades on the SAP Systems
Planning Downtime for HANA/Kernel/Add on/Plug ins/Other Support Packs
Extensive co-ordination experience with Functional, Technical SAP Development Teams and external vendor.
Worked with other service providers to resolve issues.
