The Sandwich Maker is responsible for preparing and assembling a variety of sandwiches, wraps, and salads according to company recipes and customer preferences. This role ensures quality, hygiene, and speed in food preparation while maintaining a clean and organized workstation.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and assemble sandwiches, wraps, and salads as per standardized recipes.
Slice, cut, and portion meats, cheeses, vegetables, and breads.
Grill, toast, or heat sandwich ingredients when necessary.
Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
Maintain cleanliness of the sandwich station and all related equipment.
Ensure proper storage and labeling of all food ingredients.
Refill ingredients and supplies during and after shifts.
Take customer orders (if working in a front-of-house setting) and respond to special requests.
Report low inventory levels to the kitchen supervisor or manager.
Assist with other kitchen duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a sandwich maker or in a fast-paced kitchen is preferred.
Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
Team player with a positive attitude.
