Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and organised Sandwich Maker to lead our sandwich production team. This role involves preparing a variety of sandwiches, wraps, and light bites while supervising two assistants to ensure smooth, efficient, and high-quality production. The ideal candidate must maintain excellent hygiene standards, communicate well, and be able to manage workflow in a busy catering kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare a wide range of sandwiches, wraps, and snack items according to recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards. Supervise and guide two assistants, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time. Plan daily production based on orders and forecasted demand. Check quality of ingredients and finished products before distribution. Ensure proper labelling, dating, and storage of all items. Maintain a clean and hygienic workstation at all times, following company and Dubai Municipality food safety guidelines. Coordinate with kitchen management to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfilment. Train new assistants on correct preparation, hygiene, and workflow procedures. Monitor stock levels of sandwich ingredients and communicate requirements for replenishment.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a sandwich maker or in a cold kitchen preparation role. Experience supervising or guiding junior staff is an advantage. Strong understanding of hygiene and food safety practices. Ability to work quickly, neatly, and efficiently. Good communication and leadership skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.
