Job Description

The Juice & Sandwich Maker is responsible for preparing fresh juices, smoothies, and sandwiches according to standard recipes while maintaining high standards of hygiene, quality, and customer service. The role requires speed, accuracy, and cleanliness in a fast-paced environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesJuice & Beverage Preparation

Prepare fresh fruit juices, smoothies, milkshakes, and mocktails as per menu standards. Wash, peel, cut, and store fruits and vegetables correctly. Operate blenders, juicers, and related equipment safely. Ensure freshness, correct portions, and consistent taste.
Sandwich & Snack Preparation

Prepare sandwiches, wraps, burgers, and light snacks as per recipes. Ensure proper filling, presentation, and portion control. Toast, grill, or heat items when required. Pack takeaway orders neatly and hygienically.
Hygiene, Safety & Cleanliness

Follow food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP or local authority rules). Maintain cleanliness of preparation area, counters, utensils, and equipment. Ensure proper storage of fruits, bread, dairy, and ingredients. Dispose of waste correctly and maintain pest-free conditions.
Inventory & Stock Control

Monitor stock levels of fruits, bread, spreads, and packaging materials. Minimize food wastage and report low stock or spoilage. Assist in daily stock checking and FIFO practices.
Customer Service & Teamwork

Handle customer orders politely and accurately. Coordinate with cashier and kitchen staff for smooth service. Work efficiently during peak hours. Follow instructions from Supervisor or Manager.
Skills & Requirements

Experience in juice bar, cafe, or sandwich station (preferred). Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety. Ability to work fast while maintaining quality. Good communication and customer-service skills. Physically fit to stand for long hours.
Preferred Qualifications

Food handling or hygiene certification. Experience in cafes, supermarkets, or QSR outlets.
Working Conditions

Shift-based role including weekends and holidays. Standing work with frequent use of kitchen equipment.
