Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Sandwich Maker to join our fast-paced food service team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a quick service environment. This role involves preparing fresh sandwiches, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a positive experience for all customers. Prior experience in food handling or restaurant settings is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. Duties

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to company recipes and customer specifications Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and payment handling Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food preparation areas in compliance with food safety regulations Manage food inventory, restock supplies, and ensure freshness of ingredients Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, upselling menu items, and addressing customer inquiries Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining environment when needed Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met at all times

Experience

Previous experience in food preparation, cashiering, or food service is preferred but not required Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Experience working in quick service or fast-food restaurants is advantageous Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation, and proper food handling techniques is beneficial Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and managing transactions effectively Experience working in cafes, grocery stores, or retail environments involving serving or food industry operations is valuable
