Job Description
We are currently partnered with one of the world’s largest buyer’s of vessels that has also diversified into ownership and commercial management. Our client is currently headquartered in Dubai and in growth mode with the intention of looking for an in house S&P Trader. In this role you will be responsible for the research, and negotiations and occasionally chartering of vessels. You will also be instrumental in the promotion of business opportunities with owners, brokers, charterers and other shipping investors. In order to be considered for this position you should have a good grasp of capital, steel and other commodity markets. Proven skills in negotiation and a strong analytical approach. Previous Sale and Purchase experience as well as an understanding of offshore projects. Opportunities to relocate overseas after 1 year in Dubai are also on offer.
