Travel Consultant
Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
1) Research various destinations and means of travel regarding prices, customs, weather conditions, reviews etc.
2) Diagnose the clients’ specifications and wishes and suggest suitable travel packages or services
3) Organize travels from beginning to end, through booking tickets and accommodation, securing rental transportation etc.
4) Supply travelers with pertinent information and useful travel/holiday material (guides, maps, event programs etc)
5) Usepromotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages 6) Maintain relationships with key persons
7) Keep financial statements and documents
8) Reach the revenue and profit targets
Requirements:
1) Excellent knowledge of traveling software (Amadeus is a must)
2) Proficiency in English & french; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
