: Operations Manager for Salon Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced female Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our upscale salon located in Dubai. With a reputation for excellence and impeccable service, our standards are exceptionally high. As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient salon operations, managing a team of staff, and delivering high-quality services in a harmonious work environment. The Operations Manager works closely with and reports directly to the salon owner to use their interest in the industry to continuously seek new ways to grow and improve our salon\xe2\x80\x99s service offering. Our team is committed to providing exceptional customer service and building up a large customer base, thereby we need like-minded candidates to strive for our company goals. Responsibilities:

  • Team Management:
  • Supervise and manage a team of staff, including hairstylists, estheticians, nail technicians, and front desk personnel.
  • Provide team leadership, guidance, and support.
  • Ensure excellent performance and adherence to salon policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and oversee disciplinary issues.
  • Identify areas where training is needed, followed by training sessions to foster skill development and ensure a high level of service.
  • Organize employees\xe2\x80\x99 shifts, considering peak times and seasonality.
  • Monitor staff utilization and absenteeism.
  • Promote a healthy and collaborative work environment, motivating your team to boost morale and retention.
  • Perform Quarterly Staff Evaluation Reports with proposed action plans.
  • Identify staff for promotion and transfers.
  • Operational Efficiency:
  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures to optimize salon efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee inventory management, including product ordering, stock control, and replenishing stock to ensure adequate supplies are available.
  • Implement full product and service purchasing standards and ensure compliance.
  • Monitor salon equipment and facilities, coordinating repairs and maintenance as necessary to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Validate stock and suppliers.
  • Apply hygiene practices across all beauty stations.
  • Maintain an up-to-date version of the Procedure Manual and ensure compliance.
  • Keep up to date with market trends pertaining to industry/trade/product category, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
  • Prepare sales analyses and reports on operational issues, market trends, competitors, and customers to facilitate overall decision-making on brand management strategy.
  • Responsible for preparation of stores/review of standards for principal visits.
  • Ensure optimum staffing levels are maintained across the salon.
  • Customer Service:
  • Ensure exceptional customer service delivery by maintaining a customer-centric approach and resolving any customer concerns or complaints.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, fostering loyalty and repeated business.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, products, and services to provide customers with informed recommendations and an enhanced salon experience.
  • Ensure all beauty treatments meet high-quality standards.
  • Educate both clients and team members on salon services and products.
  • Monitor and analyze salon performance metrics, such as customer satisfaction and feedback, and implement strategies for improvement.
  • Financial Management:
  • Setting the annual budgets and managing the P&L for the business operations.
  • Increase revenue through effective sales strategies, monitor operating costs, review budgets, and take corrective action as needed
  • Public Relations and Partnerships:
  • Cultivate relationships with media outlets, bloggers, and influencers to generate positive coverage and PR opportunities.
  • Identify potential partnership opportunities with relevant businesses, such as fashion boutiques or beauty influencers, to expand brand reach and cross-promote services.
  • Ensure a consistent image is being portrayed.
  • Digital Marketing:
  • Monitor campaign effectiveness, including the website, social media platforms, and online advertising, and analyze sales and footfall data.
  • Identify marketing channels to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
  • Utilize SEO techniques, email marketing, and other digital tools to drive online traffic and conversions.
  • Work with marketing to ensure strong promotional activities and marketing campaigns/loyalty programs/CRM such as running online competitions and offering discount packages to attract new customers.
  • Participate in strategic business planning and marketing initiatives to attract new clients and promote salon services.
Benefits:
  • Incentives: Eligibility for an annual salon performance bonus based on achieving set targets and objectives.
  • Salary Range: AED 18,000 to AED 20,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  • Other benefits: Medical insurance, annual leave, and visa sponsorship.
Requirements:
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Female candidate to align with our salon\'s clientele.
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience operating a successful salon.
  • Proven experience in salon management, demonstrating strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of Dubai\'s salon industry regulations and practices would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of beauty treatments and products is preferred.
  • Fluent in English, preferably bilingual (Arabic/English).
  • Extensive knowledge of salon operations, including customer service, staff management, and inventory control.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients and motivate salon staff.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural team and appreciation of other cultures & values.
  • Ability to handle customers\xe2\x80\x99 requests and complaints with grace.
  • Highly detail-oriented.
  • Excellent work ethic, strong leadership qualities, and a focused team player are critical attributes.
  • Experience in fiscal & budget preparation and good computer skills in MS Office would be an advantage.
