We are looking for a motivated and friendly Salon Assistant/ Helper to support our hairstylists and ensure smooth daily operations in the salon. This role is ideal for someone passionate about the beauty industry and eager to learn and grow in a professional salon environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, dusting furniture, and polishing surfaces.
Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms (toilets, sinks) and kitchens (counters, appliances).
Emptying trash/recycling bins and replacing liners.
Replenishing soap, toilet paper, paper towels, and other hygiene supplies.
Cleaning windows, mirrors, and other glass/shiny surfaces.
Operating cleaning machinery (vacuums, carpet cleaners) safely.
Following health/safety protocols (PPE), reporting hazards, maintenance needs, or damage.
Requirements:
Friendly, helpful, and professional attitude
Willingness to learn and take direction
Good communication and teamwork skills
Basic knowledge of salon hygiene and cleanliness
Previous salon or customer service experience is a plus
