We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused

Salesman

to join our construction equipment rental shop. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting rental services, assisting customers with equipment selection, preparing rental agreements, and ensuring excellent customer service throughout the rental process.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist walk-in and telephone customers professionally. Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable construction tools and machinery for rental. Provide complete product information including pricing, usage instructions, and rental terms. Prepare rental contracts and ensure proper documentation and ID verification. Coordinate with the operations or yard team for equipment availability and delivery. Maintain accurate records of rentals, returns, and customer interactions. Follow up with existing clients for repeat business and pending payments. Assist in tracking and scheduling equipment returns. Ensure proper display and cleanliness of rental items in the showroom. Report damaged or missing equipment and follow up on recovery or replacement. Stay updated with new tools/equipment in stock and market trends. Meet or exceed monthly sales and rental targets.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional sales or technical training is a plus. Minimum 1-2 years of sales experience in a construction-related field or rental business. Basic knowledge of construction tools, machines, and their functions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Customer service-oriented with good negotiation abilities. Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, rental software, POS systems). Ability to speak English fluently; Arabic or other languages are a plus. Must be physically fit to occasionally assist with lightweight equipment handling
