Automation & Controls \xe2\x80\x93 Sales Manager Job Area: Automation & Control Job ID: TADS/SM/2023/003 Work Years: 5-7 years Qualification: A Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics/ Electrical / Controls. : \xc2\xb7 Strong understanding of Automation, Controls, Instrumentation and Electrical systems. \xc2\xb7 Previous experience in sales of Industrial Automation and Controls. \xc2\xb7 Should have a good understanding of generating system architecture & control solutions from client specification. \xc2\xb7 Liaising and building relationships with a range of stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, consultants etc. \xc2\xb7 Understanding of the Project sales environment, and elements leading to closure of order with the technical ability to discuss projects and systems with all contacts within the sales cycle \xc2\xb7 Identifying suitable project / inquiry/ opportunities, to understand key aspects of technical specifications, lead internal discussions, and aid the proposals group in preparation of quotations. \xc2\xb7 Carrying out market research and customer surveys to assess demand, brand positioning and awareness. \xc2\xb7 Monitoring competitor activity & analyzing pricing positions \xc2\xb7 Managing the strategic aspects of large engagements and mitigation of any risk involved. \xc2\xb7 Takes a lead role in monitoring the identification and development of strategic accounts. \xc2\xb7 Lends expertise to internal teams and task forces Skills/ Expertise: \xc2\xb7 Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to present views in a clear and compelling manner. \xc2\xb7 Should be fluent in English reading & writing. \xc2\xb7 A self-motivated, enthusiastic leader with strong organizational skills. \xc2\xb7 Ability to build relationship with customers, consultants, and vendors. \xc2\xb7 Experience of logical depictions of complex system. \xc2\xb7 Strong understanding of how modern ICS control networks work. Sectors Experience: Industrial Sector like Oil & Gas, Utilities, critical infrastructure, renewables Preferable: \xc2\xb7 Candidates with Middle East experience & experience in selling in the sectors like Oil & Gas, Utilities, Critical Infrastructure, Renewables etc. would be an added advantage.
