Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and technically knowledgeable

Sales Technician

to join our

metal factory/workshop

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for attending client inquiries, understanding technical requirements, negotiating contracts, and securing new sales for metal fabrication and workshop services. This role requires strong communication skills, technical understanding of metal works, and the ability to convert inquiries into confirmed orders.

Key Responsibilities:

Attend and follow up on client inquiries related to metal fabrication and workshop services. Visit clients and project sites to understand technical requirements and scope of work. Prepare and submit quotations, technical proposals, and cost estimates. Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with clients to close new sales. Coordinate with production, engineering, and workshop teams to ensure accurate execution of orders. Track leads, sales activities, and maintain updated client records. Achieve monthly and annual sales targets. Develop new clients and maintain strong relationships with existing customers. Monitor market trends, competitors, and identify new business opportunities.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Minimum

2-5 years

of experience in sales or technical sales within a metal factory, fabrication workshop, or related industry. Strong knowledge of metal fabrication processes (steel, aluminum, stainless steel, etc.). Proven experience in client handling, negotiation, and closing deals. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to read drawings and understand technical specifications. Valid driving license is preferred. Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CRM systems is an advantage.
