Job Summary:
The Sales Support Engineer plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between technical solutions and customer needs. This position provides pre-sales and post-sales technical assistance, ensuring customers understand product capabilities and assisting the sales team in closing deals. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Sales Support:

  • Assist the sales team in technical discussions with customers, including product demonstrations and presentations.
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver technical proposals, white papers, and case studies.
  • Respond to technical queries from potential clients and address concerns.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to align solutions with customer needs.
Post-Sales Support:
  • Provide technical assistance during implementation and onboarding.
  • Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with engineering teams for resolutions.
  • Conduct training sessions for customers on product usage and best practices.
  • Gather customer feedback and relay it to product teams for improvements.
Technical & Administrative Tasks:
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
  • Create and update technical documentation, FAQs, and user guides.
  • Assist in RFP (Request for Proposal) and tender responses.
  • Track customer interactions and support requests in CRM systems.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Computer Science) or related field.
  • Experience:
  • 2+ years in technical sales, customer support, or a related role.
  • Experience in [specific industry, e.g., IT, manufacturing, automation].
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in [relevant tools, e.g., CRM software, CAD, ERP systems].
