The Sales Supervisor oversees daily sales operations and leads a team of sales associates to meet and exceed performance goals. This role focuses on motivating the team, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining smooth store or department operations.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support sales staff during daily operations
Set sales targets and monitor individual and team performance
Train, coach, and motivate team members to improve sales skills
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and resolve issues when needed
Assist with scheduling, task assignments, and shift coverage
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with management on restocking
Prepare sales reports and provide feedback to management
Enforce company policies, procedures, and standards
Promote sales via social media platforms.
Generate leads.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (associate's or bachelor's degree is a plus)
Previous experience in sales or retail; supervisory experience preferred
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
Basic computer skills and familiarity with sales systems
