Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Efficiency Management
Oversee the analysis of sales performance within assigned territories to ensure alignment with company targets, driving improvements in efficiency and profitability. Develop strategies to enhance sales performance and ensure that the sales team meet or exceed expectations.
Monthly Sales Planning & Execution
Lead the development and implementation of monthly shipment and payment plans, ensuring alignment with the company goals. Provide guidance and support to the sales team in executing their plans effectively.
Sales Target Setting & Management
Set clear, actionable sales targets for individual sales representatives, ensuring the focus is on key metrics such as shipment volumes, payment collections, customer acquisition, and problem product categories. Monitor the achievement of targets, taking corrective actions where necessary to drive performance.
Sales Team Leadership & Development
Manage, coach, and motivate the field sales team to achieve performance goals while fostering a high-performance culture. Provide ongoing training, development, and performance feedback to enhance the skills and effectiveness of team members. Ensure the team consistently delivers exceptional customer service while fulfilling sales objectives.
Customer Acquisition & Strategic Oversight
Lead strategic initiatives to identify and acquire new customers, setting priorities and directing efforts to maximize market penetration. Develop and implement customer acquisition strategies, ensuring alignment with overall company growth objectives.
Route Optimization & Sales Operations
Direct the optimization of daily visit schedules for sales representatives, ensuring efficient travel routes and maximized client interactions. Oversee sales operations to ensure seamless execution and alignment with sales strategies.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Lead the monitoring and analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales plan execution, departmental target achievement, reduction of overdue receivables, and compliance with company standards. Prepare regular reports on team performance and provide actionable insights to senior management.
Field Visits & Representative Coaching
Conduct regular field visits to assess the sales team's effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and provide targeted coaching on sales techniques, customer engagement, and time management. Actively mentor team members to foster personal and professional growth.
Business Agreement Oversight
Oversee the timely execution of business agreements with clients, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. Collaborate with senior leadership to address and resolve any issues related to business agreements.
Commercial Terms Negotiation & Development
Lead discussions and negotiations on commercial terms with clients, ensuring alignment with company pricing and discount structures. Ensure the sales team is consistently briefed on the company's commercial policies and that they apply them effectively in negotiations.
Knowledge & Skills Required:
At least 2 years experience in managing field sales representatives team in FMCG or DIY business.
Strong understanding of strategic and tactical management principles.
Expertise in sales analysis, market development, and marketing strategies.
Proven experience in successful negotiations at various levels.
Proficient in Sales Software and Microsoft Office suite.
Knowledge of professional business communication and ethics.
Understanding of personnel management principles and practices.
Experience in business and financial agreement processes.
Basic understanding of accounting principles.
