The Role: Sales Specialist/Relationship Manager (Global Intelligence and Analytics (GIA) - Developing Markets

The Team:

Our economic and industry forecasts, risk and compliance capabilities and trade and supply chain intelligence assets are used by senior executives within multinational corporations, financial organizations, political and government organizations and NGOs to underpin critical strategic decisions and provide them with a 360-degree perspective on what matters most to their business or organization.

What\'s in it for you:

Reporting into the GIA\'s lead for Developing Markets Sales, you will nurture relationships with existing clients to retain existing revenue and develop new streams of revenue within those same accounts in the Developing Markets region. You will manage and nurture a diverse existing book of business with some of the most significant corporate, financial and government entities in the region.

Developing Markets is one of our fastest growing regions globally so this role provides a unique opportunity to be part of this growth strategy in region as well as the opportunity to support our hunting team to drive new subscription business and consulting wins.

You will have the opportunity to make and nurture relationships with senior level executives responsible for critical decision making in their organisations. Internally, you will have access to our network of experts from across GIA giving you invaluable insight into every country in the world and support throughout the sales cycle. You will also have the opportunity to work with, and learn from, collaborative and impressive sales colleagues.

Responsibilities:

Meeting or exceeding monthly/quarterly Relationship Management goals and driving the retention of existing business through consistent engagement with your clients to understand their current and ever evolving needs.

Consistently and effectively improving engagement and overall client experience with the risk, economics, compliance, trade and supply chain solutions and team.

Providing timely and accurate insight to your pipeline leading to accurate forecasts

Representing and promoting the company and business line to senior executives both internally and externally

Developing a strong understanding of the value proposition for our offerings as it relates to your portfolio of clients.

What We\'re Looking For:

You are a results-driven, sales professional who has the confidence to represent and promote SPGMI and GIA solutions in innovative and creative ways to clients in the Developing Markets region.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

5-8 years of sales experience

Bachelor\'s degree minimum

Experience selling information services (research, data, consulting)

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor communications to client needs.

Proven excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to build effective internal and external relationships

Desired but not essential: ability to speak Arabic in addition to English

Willingness to travel up to 25% in order to conduct face to face meetings or attend industry conferences
