Identify potential clients and develop strategies to connect and establish relationships with them
Promote and sell the company's products or services, using knowledge of the product or service to demonstrate benefits to potential customers
Prepare and deliver sales presentations to a range of prospective clients
Negotiate sales contracts and sales agreements to finalize sales
Meet and exceed sales targets set by the company
Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc
Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
Provide excellent customer service, addressing and resolving customer complaints and queries
Manage client accounts, ensuring payments are made and liaising with the finance department as necessary
