Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Officer to join our team in the SME Banking division. The Sales Officer will play a crucial role in driving the sales of SME banking products and services, focusing on building and maintaining strong relationships with potential and existing clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, a deep understanding of SME banking products, and the ability to meet and exceed sales targets. Key Responsibilities: Sales and Business Development:
  • Identify and target potential SME clients for our banking products and services.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay informed about industry trends.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline through effective prospecting and lead generation activities.
  • Actively promote and sell SME banking products to achieve individual and team sales targets.
Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with SME clients through regular communication and follow-ups.
  • Provide personalized financial solutions based on clients\' needs and business requirements.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by addressing queries, resolving issues, and delivering exceptional service.
Product Knowledge and Training:
  • Stay updated on SME banking products, industry regulations, and market trends.
  • Conduct product presentations and training sessions for clients to enhance their understanding of our banking products.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather product feedback and contribute to product improvement.
Sales Reporting and Analysis:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and business development efforts.
  • Generate regular reports on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in SME banking or financial sales roles.
  • Strong understanding of SME banking products, financial markets, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-driven with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
