Job Title: Merchandiser

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Merchandiser to join our team. The Merchandiser will be responsible for ensuring that products are displayed effectively in stores or online, aligning with brand standards and maximizing sales. This role involves inventory planning, visual merchandising, and close coordination with the sales and marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and implement merchandising strategies based on sales trends and seasonality.

Ensure product displays are attractive, clean, well-stocked, and aligned with brand guidelines.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse or suppliers to avoid overstock or stockouts.

Analyze sales data and customer preferences to optimize product placement and promotions.

Collaborate with store staff, buyers, and marketing teams to plan campaigns and product launches.

Conduct regular store visits or audits to assess merchandising effectiveness.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and consumer behavior.

Report on performance metrics such as sell-through rates, foot traffic, and stock turnover.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a merchandiser or in a similar retail/sales role.

Strong understanding of visual merchandising and retail operations.

Excellent analytical and organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); familiarity with inventory management software is a plus.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Willingness to travel between store locations (if applicable).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in specific merchandising like FMCG.

Good communication skills in English other languages (Hindi/Urdu/Tagalog) is a plus.

Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Working Timings:

Working in shifts including weekends and holidays.

11 Hours work (10 hours Duty + 1 hour break)

May involve standing for long periods

Weekly 1 off which will be given from Monday to Thursday

2 years of contract
