Overview of Role

Build a comprehensive understanding of the non-intrusive inspection market regionally;Support the existing sales team with development of sales into greenfield clients;Drive the correct behaviours in our partners; Target new markets which have been neglected due to limited resources;

Responsibilities

Support existing sales opportunities in key territories in the Middle East;

Identify and develop opportunities in new market verticals; Support with the creation and delivery of clearly articulated strategic plans and associated action items to senior management; Support negotiations on cargo related sales in the region;
  • Sustain, develop and create relationships with end users across key market sectors (Customs & Security) across the region. This will include frequent travel;
  • Support the creation and adoption of strategies for key countries within the region;
  • Where appropriate, development of deep-dive \xe2\x80\x98Capture Plans\xe2\x80\x99 for smaller accounts across the region. Delivery regular updates on the implementation of these strategies and Capture Plans to Sales Management, capturing measurable developments and future actions;
  • Support Sales Directors in nurturing and monitoring the performance of partners across the region, helping partners develop their own strategies. Where necessary provide training and collaborative presenting;
  • Work alongside internal Government Relations team to increase our competitiveness in key tenders through support from US Government entities;
  • Identify and develop longer-term sales opportunities across more niche market sectors, for example airport perimeter security or military bases, screening operations with Intelligence Services and handheld detection with private construction firms.
Qualifications
  • Have experience in security and/or Customs environments to promote a positive external perception of RS\xe2\x94\x82AS&E
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the Middle East and occasionally within the broader EMEA region
  • Capable of building effective customer and distributor/ representative relationships
  • Able to work independently but motivate/win cooperation of remote co-workers to deliver result
  • Provide examples plans and goals achieved in a previous role
  • Demonstrate strategic thought, building on patterns, themes and trends in data to draw conclusions from possible options
  • Strong and convincing presentation delivery capability (both conversational and formal)
  • Strong written work - can they create convincing narratives?
Desirable competencies:
  • An understanding of technology based security equipment or a security focused background
  • Fluent Arabic speaker
  • Experience in a commercial environment
