Role Overview / Summary:
This position is for an experienced Sales professional, to drive the sell products to strategically significant customers and developing critical relationships for future sales opportunities primarily in GCC and across a few of the Collins locations in Africa. The role holder will be responsible for process improvement through effective sales management and problem resolution to enhance Sales performance. Additionally, this role includes the key account management of existing Collins customers in Middle East.
This role will be located with our Collins team in Dubai, UAE
Primary Responsibilities:
Acts as primary contact with large customers; develops a professional relationship with the purpose of understanding the customer needs and meeting those within the bounds of the contracted scope.
Sells the products and services to national/international and/or complex accounts and customers in order to ensure that the sales targets are met.
Manages existing customer relationships within assigned account list. Contacts new customers to discuss their needs, and to explain how these needs could be met by specific products and services.
Developing and implementing new sales initiatives, strategies and programmes to capture key opportunities.
Identifying potential opportunities for up selling to meet annual targets
Shares best practices in order to negotiate value, address resistance and close the sale.
Participates as the management team representative on strategically important target accounts.
Establishes long-term customer relationships with strategically important accounts to influence opportunities in order to achieve the sales objectives/targets.
Customer facing and selling role (quotas)
Single Point of contact for Airport related queries
Prospects, develops, expands and maintains business.
Responds to RFQ/RFP requests from customers and develops proposals for presentation to customers.
Produce and conduct sales pipeline for existing customer upselling/ renewals and new opportunities within sales force across Middle East
Performs, forecasting for respective channel, customer group, or territory.
Coordinates account resources with internal stakeholders.
Min Qualifications & Experience Requirements
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in an appropriate discipline with at least a minimum of 7-10years of working experience in a sales and customer account management role in the Airports or Aviation industry in the Middle East, specifically in the GCC countries.
Past work experience in the Airports or Aviation industry to include a proven track record of sales achievements in GCC countries.
Familiarity and experience in dealing with and maneuvering in Middle East customer base and networks.
Possesses a broad working knowledge of Special Airport Systems (SAS) including Airport operational systems, Baggage reconciliation system and passenger processing systems.
Proficiency in MS Office suite tools such as Outlook, PowerPoint , Word , Excel
Excellent Communication (written & verbal) & presentation ability in English and Arabic languages
Ability to work effectively in a matrixed team environment locally and globally
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to source solutions to customer requirements or issues
Excellent attention to detail and quality
Ability to travel frequently (50 %) across MEA and occasionally internationally as maybe required
