He/she is responsible for creating and maintaining strong relationships with clients, meeting their needs, and exceeding their expectations to promote repeat business.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES\xc2\xb7 Develop, implement and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve individual revenue goals and increase market share.\xc2\xb7 Identify and target key market segments and develop strategies to capture new business opportunities.\xc2\xb7 Generate and maintain customers of defined accounts through sales activities (face to face calls, telephone calls, site inspections etc.)\xc2\xb7 Establish and maintain strong relationships with local DMCs, overseas Tour Operators and other client groups (ie Corporate and Mice if applicable as per specific market segmentation) to generate leads and secure sales.\xc2\xb7 Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences, and use the insights to set-up sales and marketing strategies, to be shared and discussed with the Director of Sales & Marketing.\xc2\xb7 Monthly rate shopping of competitors to be completed and shared with the DOSM.\xc2\xb7 To maintain a high level of exposure for the hotel through direct sales and other ways of communication.\xc2\xb7 Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking activities to build brand awareness, expand professional networks, and generate new business leads.\xc2\xb7 Monitor own sales performance, analyse sales data, and generate regular reports to evaluate progress, identify areas for improvement, and recommend corrective actions. Closely monitoring of own accounts performance and production from managed accounts.\xc2\xb7 Develop and negotiate sales contracts and pricing agreements with clients to maximize revenue and profitability while maintaining strong customer satisfaction.\xc2\xb7 To ensure that selling strategies are adhered to during negotiations and maximizing selling opportunities wherever possible.\xc2\xb7 Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth handover of bookings, efficient guest service delivery, and seamless event execution.\xc2\xb7 Maintain a high level of knowledge about the resort\'s facilities, services, promotions, and local attractions to effectively communicate with customers and address their needs.\xc2\xb7 Stay updated on industry regulations, legal requirements, and ethical standards to ensure compliance in all sales activities.\xc2\xb7 Handle site inspections with individual clients or groups (if required also on weekends/evenings).\xc2\xb7 Daily and weekly reports to be submitted in a timely manner as requested by Director of Sales & Marketing.\xc2\xb7 To ensure that inquiries and emails are responded to within a maximum of 24 hrs.PROFILE REQUIREDEducation\xc2\xb7 High school / University or equivalent education requiredExperience\xc2\xb7 At least 2 years of experience within the hospitality industry in a resort / leisure segment.Key Competencies\xc2\xb7 Communication & interpersonal skills\xc2\xb7 Sales & Negotiation skills\xc2\xb7 Market knowledge\xc2\xb7 Proactive and driven\xc2\xb7 Customer focused\xc2\xb7 Information system knowledge\xc2\xb7 Problem solving skills\xc2\xb7 Time management skillsOther skills (Language, Computers)\xc2\xb7 Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English\xc2\xb7 Good computer skillsCAREERS
