Job Description

Job Summary:
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by securing new business, maintaining client relationships, and maximizing sales opportunities within the hotel. This role requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other key stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research to analyze trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
  • Prepare and present persuasive sales proposals, contracts, and promotional packages.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals effectively to maximize profitability.
Customer & Client Relations:
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to both existing and potential clients.
  • Address client inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Conduct site inspections and client meetings to showcase hotel facilities and services.
Administrative & Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and revenue performance.
  • Utilize CRM systems and sales software to track leads, conversions, and pipeline progress.
  • Generate regular sales reports, analyzing data to identify opportunities for improvement.
Team Collaboration & Leadership:
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align sales strategies with promotional campaigns.
  • Coordinate with other departments (e.g., Events, Front Office, F&B) to ensure seamless execution of client requirements.
  • Mentor and guide junior sales staff, fostering a positive and results-driven team environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Experience: Previous sales experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM software, and sales analytics tools.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; strong presentation abilities.
  • Negotiation & Influence: Proven ability to negotiate deals and persuade decision-makers.
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret market data and sales metrics to drive strategy.
  • Attitude: Positive, proactive, and customer-focused with a results-driven approach.
