Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team at our garden center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail sales management, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the garden center industry. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing sales staff, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow revenue Manage and motivate a team of sales staff to meet sales goals and provide excellent customer service Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and challenges Collaborate with the store manager to develop and implement marketing plans and promotions Provide training and coaching to sales staff on products, services, and sales techniques Build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders Manage inventory levels, replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales and profitability Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new products, and technologies to maintain a competitive edge
Requirements:

2+ years of sales management experience in retail, preferably in the garden center industry Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving sales targets Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to inform sales strategies Knowledge of garden center products, services, and operations Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field Experience with inventory management and merchandising Knowledge of point-of-sale systems and sales analytics software Certification in horticulture, gardening, or a related field
