About the Hotel Show & Index Saudi Arabia The Hotel Show Saudi Arabia is the Kingdom\'s largest and most influential trade event for the hotel and hospitality sector. Saudi Arabia is undergoing a once-in-a-lifetime change, transforming its landscape, economy and future prospects. As Vision 2030 comes to life, the design and hospitality industries have seen a boom with multiple giga-projects underway, all seeking suppliers, solutions and materials. Job Purpose The sales Manager is an integral part of the Hotel Show & Index Saudi Arabia team and is responsible for securing new and lapsed revenues across the event and sponsorship solutions. You will be working closely with the Event Director to drive stand and sponsorship sales. Key Responsibilities
Sell exhibition space and sponsorship solutions and ensure the event and personal sales targets are achieved
Identify and close new business opportunities and develop them into long-term relationships
Develop a sales plan to help meet agreed revenue targets and other KPIs
Look for upsell and cross-sell opportunities to grow the customer spend with us
Work with the Event Director to support the management of the international sales agents
Monitor sales figures, accurately forecast and report on the stand and sponsorship sales progress on a regular basis
Self-source leads by attending competitor exhibitions, dmg events, or through online research
Follow up promptly on leads generated by the Marketing team
Manage the relationship with all your customers by maintaining regular contact (via face-to-face meetings, phone calls, or emails), acting as their first point of contact, responding to their requests and queries directly, and keeping them informed of the events developments
Attend the Hotel Show and Index Saudi Arabia to rebook customers for the next year\'s event and collect feedback on the current year\'s event
Update weekly pipelines and ensure they are accurate
Ensure your CRM notes are fully up to date
Work in collaboration with internal teams (Marketing, Content and Operations), ensuring all activities are considered from a customer\'s viewpoint to build strong and lasting customer relationships
Qualifications
Minimum 3-5 years of sales and account management experience in a B2B role
Experience of working with an international client base
Previous experience in exhibitions and events
Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with a wide variety of customers across multiple mediums, including phone, email, and face-to-face meetings
Experience selling to senior stakeholders in client organisations
Strong background in telephone and face to face sales
Previous experience in the design and hospitality industries is a plus
Experience of achieving growth by generating new ideas
Self-motivated, confident, adaptable, with ability to take ownership and responsibility to ensure the best outcome
