Job Overview



The Sales Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP) Manager plays a pivotal role in driving alignment between demand forecasting, supply and logistics planning, inventory management, customer fulfilment and financial management. This position ensures that sales, operations, finance, production, logistics, sales and supply chain teams work collaboratively to deliver reliable product availability while optimizing working capital. The SIOP Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and leading the end-to-end SIOP process, providing clear visibility to leadership, and facilitating cross-functional decision-making.

Responsibilities



1. SIOP Process Ownership



Design, implement, and continuously improve the company's SIOP process, ensuring alignment with business strategy and market demand. Lead monthly SIOP meetings, integrating inputs from Sales, Proposals, Supply Chain, Procurement, Production and Finance. Develop and manage demand and supply balancing processes.

2. Demand Planning



Collaborate with Sales, Proposal and Product Management teams to gather market intelligence and develop a rolling demand forecast. Analyze historical sales trends, market seasonality, promotions, and product lifecycle changes. Identify gaps between forecast and actuals and work with stakeholders to address forecast inaccuracies.

3. Supply Planning & Inventory Management



Partner with Supply Chain, Procurement and Production teams to translate demand forecasts into feasible supply plans. Optimize inventory levels to achieve targeted service levels while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory. Develop KPIs to monitor inventory health and recommend actions for improvement. Manage end to end until sales order is fulfilled, ensure logistics is closely coordinated and manage relationships with logistics providers.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration



Facilitate consensus across multiple functions to ensure synchronized plans and shared accountability. Act as the point of contact for conflict resolution when forecast, supply, or inventory plans deviate. Run weekly cadence calls to ensure every team is delivering on its plan to fulfil customer requirements

5. Reporting & Performance Monitoring



Develop and maintain SIOP dashboards and reports for executive leadership. Provide data-driven insights and scenario planning to support strategic decision-making. Track, analyze, and communicate performance metrics such as forecast accuracy, inventory turns, fill rates, and capacity utilization. Identify risks and opportunities and recommend actionable solutions.

Requirements



Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA is a plus. 10+ years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, or inventory operations, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Proven experience implementing and managing SIOP processes. Proven experience in logistics management a strong requirement Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in forecasting and planning SAP experience Excellent communication, facilitation, and influencing skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive change management initiatives. Professional certifications in SCM or SIOP a plus Ability to build things from nothing to the best possible outcome High attention to detail and accuracy. Strong sense of ownership and accountability. Data-driven decision-making mindset.

Up to 30% travel may be required to sites in APAC, Middle East and Europe
