. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing new business opportunities, and managing existing client relationships within the agro commodities sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business targets in the GCC and African markets.
Manage end-to-end sales of
rice, pulses, and grains
-- from sourcing to client delivery.
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, importers, wholesalers, and government entities.
Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities and monitor competitor activities.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with clients and suppliers.
Coordinate with logistics, documentation, and finance teams to ensure smooth order execution.
Participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and business meetings to promote company products.
Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and market intelligence updates for management.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regional trade regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, International Trade, or related field.
Minimum
3-5 years of proven sales experience
in
rice and grains trading
within
GCC and/or African markets
.
Strong network of buyers and suppliers in the agro commodities industry.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Good understanding of international trade documentation and logistics.
Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Willingness to travel extensively across assigned markets.
Preferred:
Multilingual skills (Arabic ) will be an advantage.
Experience in B2B commodity trading or export-import operations.
