The Sales Executive is responsible for generating and maintaining business from assigned market segments. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, promoting the hotel's services, and building strong relationships with clients to achieve sales targets and support overall revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Actively seek out and develop new business from corporate accounts, travel agents, DMCs, and other sources.
Support the Sales Manager in achieving individual and team sales targets.
Conduct sales calls, client visits, and hotel site inspections.
Handle client inquiries, prepare quotations, and follow up on proposals.
Maintain an accurate database of accounts and track all sales activities in the CRM system.
Assist in organizing promotional activities, events, and familiarization trips.
Maintain regular contact with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
Coordinate with the Reservations and Front Office teams to ensure client requirements are met.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify business opportunities.
Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and local networking events to promote the hotel.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in hotel sales or customer-facing roles in the UAE hospitality sector.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Confident, proactive, and target-driven approach.
Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel sales systems (e.g., Opera, Salesforce, Delphi).
UAE driving license preferred.
Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
Preferred Attributes
Knowledge of Ras Al Khaimah and Northern Emirates market.
Energetic and well-groomed with a passion for sales and hospitality.
Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
Familiarity with travel trade and online booking platforms is a plus.
