The Readymade Garments Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales and business growth by identifying new customers, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and promoting the company's apparel products. This role requires a strong understanding of fashion trends, fabrics, and the garment production process, combined with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve targets and increase market share.
Identify new business opportunities and build long-term relationships with buyers, retailers, distributors, and corporate clients.
Present and promote garment collections to clients through meetings, presentations, and samples.
Understand client needs and coordinate with the production and merchandising teams to ensure timely delivery and quality satisfaction.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms to maximize profitability.
Stay updated with market trends, competitors' activities, and customer preferences.
Attend trade fairs, exhibitions, and fashion events to represent the company and expand the client base.
Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates.
Handle post-sales support, including order tracking, customer feedback, and after-sales service.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree .
Proven experience (2-5 years) in garment or textile sales, preferably in B2B or retail.
Strong understanding of garment products (knitwear, woven, denim, etc.) and the fashion industry.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Negotiation and closing skills with a results-oriented mindset.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Tally software.
Ability to travel frequently to meet clients and attend industry events.
Preferred Attributes:
Existing network in the apparel or retail industry.
Knowledge of export documentation and international trade.
