SPAN OF CONTROL:

Manages their own sales pipeline, including lead generation, client inquiries, and technical presentations. Responsible for overseeing the sales process from proposal preparation to negotiations and closing deals. Collaborates closely with engineering and design teams to ensure the delivery of customized solutions that meet client requirements. Provide post-sales support, ensuring customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling. Reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends to management, contributing to strategic decision-making. Prioritizes own safety by maintaining awareness of the hazards in the work environment, especially during site visits or technical demonstrations, and ensuring that all necessary safety procedures are followed, such as securing equipment and avoiding unsafe areas.

Technical Expertise in shipbuilding products and solutions to offer tailored client recommendations. Sales Skills to effectively manage the sales process, from lead generation to closing deals. o Problem-Solving ability to develop customized solutions based on client requirements and challenges. Strong Communication skills to present complex technical information clearly to clients and internal teams. Negotiation Skills to handle contract discussions, pricing, and terms with clients effectively. Customer Relationship Management to build long-term relationships and identify upselling opportunities. A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related technical field is typically required. Additional certifications in Shipbuilding or Sales Engineering can be advantageous. Typically, 2-5 years of experience in sales engineering, technical sales, or a related field within the shipbuilding, marine, or engineering industries is required.
