The Sales Engineer will be responsible for promoting, specifying, and selling
Busbar Trunking Systems (LV/MV)
and associated electrical solutions. The role combines strong technical knowledge with proven sales expertise to identify new business opportunities, develop client relationships, and ensure successful project conversions from enquiry to order.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in the GCC and Middle East markets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, and end users.
Present and promote the company's
Busbar Trunking Systems (IP55/IP68)
and related electrical solutions.
Prepare and deliver technical and commercial offers as per client specifications.
Follow up on quotations, negotiate contracts, and close sales to achieve monthly and annual targets.
Technical & Project Support
Review project specifications, single line diagrams, and load schedules.
Provide technical guidance to clients, consultants, and contractors regarding system design and selection.
Coordinate with the design and estimation team to ensure accurate and competitive proposals.
Conduct site visits when necessary to support installation teams and resolve technical queries.
Market & Competitor Analysis
Gather market intelligence on competitors' products, pricing, and project wins.
Report trends and market feedback to management to help shape product positioning and strategy.
Customer Relationship Management
Maintain a client database and ensure regular follow-ups and after-sales support.
Participate in exhibitions, seminars, and technical presentations to strengthen brand visibility.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in
Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
(mandatory).
Minimum
3-5 years
of experience in sales of
Busbar Trunking Systems
or
Low Voltage Electrical Products
(such as switchgear, panels, cables, or distribution systems).
Strong technical understanding of LV/MV power distribution systems.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
UAE/GCC driving license preferred.
