**The Role:** **Sales Engineer**

Take charge, support, develop and retain a portfolio of customers in a geographical area for public Utility market segments according to the strategy developed by the company.

Contribute to the development of the turnover and the quality of the customer service by providing technical value and commercial support to customers,

Ensure the achievement of sales targets, qualitative and quantitative within its scope.

Conquer new customer and work closely with keys end user, consultants and contractors

**Prospection and sales development:**

+ Establish new, and maintain existing, relationships with customers,

+ Find new sales channel and identify new opportunities,

+ Ensure the specification role to the key stakeholders,

+ Detect and follow tenders through close relations with key market stakeholders,

+ Negotiate tenders and contracts terms

+ Generate high-quality sales leads, following up after initial contact, securing and renewing orders, negotiating prices, completing sales,

+ Promote advanced technical products to different businesses and organizations,

+ Drive the activity, compile and use the Customer Relationship Management tool (Sales Force),

+ Prepare and deliver technical presentations to various customers

+ Drive an active watch to keep track of market developments and evolutions,

+ Ensure accurate and regular reporting (Activity, sales forecasting ...),

+ Ensure the implementation of actions resulting from the company's strategy,

+ Support marketing by attending trade shows, conferences, seminars and other marketing events

+ Promote Xylem products and brands

+ Accompany customers during factory visits,

+ Participate in sales meetings, at regional level,

+ Travel throughout all sales territories,

+ Make customer visits outside Morocco, when necessary,

+ Follow the payments and coordinate actions with the finance team.

**Technical support and negotiation:**

+ Participate and / or elaborate technical studies and make technical and commercial quotes with sales support team,

+ Conduct commercial negotiations with the customers to conclude and sign contracts,

+ Work in cooperation with others departments as the sales support, order & logistic, finance, marketing, service, business development...

+ Ensure follow-up of quotations and sales opportunities,

**Sales Engineer Requirements:**

+ A bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing, business administration, or related field.

+ Experience in sales and the technology field.

+ A good knowledge of the business sector of the company and its market

+ Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, presentation and sales skills.

+ Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.

+ Good leadership and team working skills.

+ Team player

+ Solid references

+ English proficiency
