Position Overview
Al-Futtaim Engineering and Technologies is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to drive sales of LG HVAC products including VRF, ducted splits, package units, and related solutions across Dubai and the Northern Emirates. This role focuses on generating enquiries, managing key accounts, achieving sales targets, and building strong relationships with consultants, developers, and contractors in the UAE market.

Role Summary
The Sales Engineer is responsible for generating and converting HVAC sales opportunities, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and achieving order booking and gross margin targets. The role involves active market development, technical sales support, customer engagement, and coordination with internal project and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities

  • Generate sales enquiries, follow up leads, and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and order booking targets
  • Identify new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and market research
  • Prepare technical reviews, HVAC system selections, and detailed sales proposals
  • Conduct negotiations, support credit approvals, and ensure timely collection of payments
  • Develop new customers and maintain strong relationships with consultants, developers, contractors, and dealer networks
  • Provide pre-sales and after-sales support and gather customer feedback to improve satisfaction
  • Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, technical data, and market share information
  • Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and documentation in line with ISO and company standards
  • Coordinate closely with projects, engineering, and other internal departments to support business growth
  • Represent the company professionally at meetings, site visits, and industry events
Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in HVAC sales within the UAE market, particularly Dubai and Northern Emirates
  • Strong experience selling VRF, ducted splits, package units, and HVAC solutions
  • Solid understanding of HVAC design, estimation, and system selection software
  • Established business contacts with consultants, developers, and MEP contractors
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and commercial skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage
  • Valid UAE driving license
