Job Title: Sales Engineer - Lighting Solutions



Industry: Lighting -LED

Reports To: Manager

Job Summary



The Sales Engineer - Lighting Solutions is responsible for driving sales of lighting products and solutions by providing technical expertise, developing client relationships, and supporting project-based sales. The role combines technical knowledge of lighting systems with strong sales and negotiation skills to deliver customized solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities:



Identify and develop new business opportunities in commercial, industrial, architectural, and infrastructure lighting projects Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue goals Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, architects, contractors, and end customers Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations Provide technical guidance on lighting products, specifications, and applications Assist in lighting design concepts, product selection, and system configurations Support customers with technical documentation, drawings, and compliance requirements Coordinate with the design and engineering teams for customized solutions Follow up on approvals, tenders, and order execution Ensure timely communication between customers and internal teams Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs Provide feedback to product management for improvements and new product development

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical preferred) 2-5 years of experience in sales engineering, preferably in the lighting or electrical industry Strong understanding of LED lighting products, drivers, controls, and standards Knowledge of lighting design software (Dialux / Relux) is an advantage

Strong technical and commercial acumen Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Ability to read technical drawings and specifications Customer-focused with strong problem-solving skills Willingness to travel as required

Sales revenue and target achievement Number of new accounts/projects acquired Conversion rate of leads to orders Customer satisfaction and retention

Salary & Benefits

AED 8,000 per month
