Job Description

SALES ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITY

Customer needs assessment:

Understand client requirements, problems, and technical needs.

Solution design:

Develop customized technical solutions and proposals that meet client needs.

Presentations and demonstrations:

Deliver technical presentations and product demos, tailoring them to address specific customer pain points.

Technical support:

Provide pre-sales technical assistance and answer in-depth technical questions during the sales process.

Liaison with internal teams:

Act as a bridge between the sales team and product development or engineering teams.
Sales cycle and closing

Relationship building:

Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers.

Proposal and contract support:

Help with the technical aspects of proposals, contract terms, and negotiations.

Sales targets:

Work with sales teams to secure and renew orders and meet sales goals.

Market research:

Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and new technologies.
Post-sales

After-sales support:

Provide post-sales support, troubleshooting, and technical assistance to ensure customer satisfaction.

Customer training:

Train customers on how to use the products effectively.

Feedback loop:

Gather customer feedback to inform product improvements and communicate issues to management.
