Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented

Sales Engineer

to join our commercial team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the sales process by preparing technical proposals, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring accurate and timely responses to client inquiries in the marine electronics, navigation, communication, automation, and safety systems domain.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the sales team with

technical support

, proposal preparation, and tender submissions for marine systems (e.g., navigation, communication, automation, calibration, gas detection). Liaise with engineering, procurement, and service teams to gather

technical specifications, pricing, and lead times

. Interpret customer requirements and offer

appropriate solutions

based on Master Systems' product/service portfolio. Maintain and update CRM tools with customer inquiries, quotations, and follow-ups. Assist in

bid management

, ensuring compliance with client specifications and company guidelines. Support

post-sales activities

such as order processing, documentation, and coordination with logistics and service departments. Communicate with international OEMs and vendors for

pricing, delivery timelines, and product information

. Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge to provide accurate and up-to-date information to clients. Attend internal and external meetings when required to support technical discussions.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree

in Engineering (Electronics, Marine, Electrical, Instrumentation, or similar).

1-4years

of relevant experience in sales engineering or technical support, preferably in the

marine or offshore

sector. Strong knowledge of

marine communication, navigation, or automation systems

. Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills. Proficiency in

MS Office

, CRM tools, and technical documentation. Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines and work both independently and within a team. UAE experience and

familiarity with IMO standards, SOLAS regulations

, and classification societies (DNV, ABS, etc.) is a plus. Male candidates preferred

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of equipment like

Gyro Compass, Radar, VDR/SVDR, GMDSS, ECDIS, Autopilot

, etc.
