Job Summary: As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for selling complex scientific and technological products or services to businesses. You will use your technical knowledge along with sales skills to provide advice and support on a range of products, from software to heavy machinery, which requires an understanding of the product\'s functions and capabilities. You will be the key point of contact for clients, answering queries, providing technical advice, and introducing new products. Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition: Identify potential clients in your designated market or region and develop strategies to communicate with them.
Product Demonstrations: Provide detailed demonstrations of product features and capabilities to potential clients, clearly articulating the technical aspects and benefits.
Technical Advice: Offer technical guidance and support before and after sales, ensuring that clients understand how to use and maintain their purchases effectively.
Custom Solutions: Work closely with clients to modify or adapt products to meet their business needs and preferences.
Sales Process Management: Manage the sales process from initial inquiry through to design, proposal, and close, including negotiation of contract terms and conditions.
Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering and development teams to stay informed about product updates and to provide feedback from customers.
Market Analysis: Keep up-to-date with new developments in the sector, anticipate product needs, and suggest the development of new products or enhancements to existing ones.
Training and Presentations: Conduct training sessions and webinars for clients on product features and benefits. Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers.
