We are looking for a dynamic, high impact Sales Engineer to build our Sales Engineering function for Africa from Dubai, someone who is technically savvy, creative, and curious to lead technical pre-sales discussions, envision and define solutions with our partners, drive technical integration through to completion, and own the solution relationship locally for our leading partners.
This isn\xe2\x80\x99t a \xe2\x80\x9crun and gun\xe2\x80\x9d pre-sales role, this is building trust, thoughtful solutions, and owning the output, while also being the technical \xe2\x80\x9cears on the ground\xe2\x80\x9d in the market to make sure the product and engineering teams are getting the right information and prioritizing the right things.
In addition, because our platform enables truly new payment experiences to be built, we expect you to bring your passion for innovation to the table to build new experiences in the market, including SDKs, innovation projects, hosting hackathons, and leading local partnerships to stretch the limits of what is possible.
An amazing Sales and Solutions Engineer will be responsible for:
Creating and delivering personalized technical sales presentations
Gathering information, defining and documenting integration plans
Delivering great end-to-end integrations, working in tandem with Product and Engineering;, and Informing the product roadmap based on our clients\xe2\x80\x99 needs
Partner success, working across our cross-functional team
Evangelizing the product and our network in the technical community
Face-to-face representation at partners and conferences
Monitoring technical performance metrics as the client ramps up
Requirements:
\xef\xbb\xbf6+ year\'s experience in a client-facing role as a Sales Engineer or in Professional Services
Strong Professional Services experience within the payments industry
Strong project management experience
Strong payments integration experience
Must have great technical writing and a clear documentation style
Must have ample client and partner empathy
Deep knowledge in API-based integration, system debugging, and log analysis
SQL, Kibana and Postman experience are a must
AWS dashboards, Jira and Confluence experience is an advantage
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Engineering, or relevant technical discipline, or comparable professional experience
