2. JOB PURPOSE:







The Sales Engineer is responsible for driving sales and business development of the Elevator/Escalator Division. This role involves identifying potential clients, understanding their needs, presenting customized solutions, and closing sales. The Sales Engineer will work closely with technical team to ensure the successful delivery of the material/completion of project, focusing on customer satisfaction, service excellence, and long-term relationships

RESPONSIBILTIES



Sales & Business Development:




Identify and target new business opportunities in the Elevator/Escalator industry.


Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients through lead generation, networking, and market research.


Qualify leads, conduct site visits, and prepare proposals tailored to the client's requirements for new elevators and Annual Maintenance of any brand of elevators.


Close sales by negotiating contracts, ensuring terms align with company objectives.


Customer Relationship Management:




Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.


Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and resolving any issues that arise.


Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to assess satisfaction levels and identify opportunities for additional services.


Product and Service Knowledge:




Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in the Elevator industry.


Effectively communicate the technical aspects and benefits of the company's services to non-technical clients.


Collaborate with technical and operations teams to customize service offerings that meet client needs.


Proposal and Presentation:




Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to clients.


Conduct detailed discussions to understand customer requirements and translate them into effective solutions.


Provide accurate quotations and timelines to clients while ensuring profitability and project feasibility.


Market Analysis and Reporting:




Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.


Report on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.


Provide feedback on customer needs, concerns, and potential new service offerings to the company.


Project Coordination and Handover:




Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project handover from sales to operations.


Assist in setting up contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) with clients.



100% achievement of sales targets.

6. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:





Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical)


Proven experience (7+ years) in sales, preferably in the Elevator/Escalator field


Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.


Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.


Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.


Proficient in MS Office


Knowledge of local regulations and standards in Elevator field


Professional certifications in sales





EXPERIENCE


1. Currently holds a Valid Qatar Driving License (Mandatory)


2. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience working Sales and Business development in Elevator Field


3. Experience in Qatar Market


4. Good information on vendors/service providers for Elevator/Escalators


5. Able to provide technical solution and allocation and budgetary forecasting and bench marking


6. Exposure to a multicultural environment





SKILLS


Time Management


Strong knowledge on using MS Office specially MS Excel


High level of customer orientation / understanding.


Strong staff management , Strong estimation skills


Excellent verbal and written communication.
