A Sales Engineer combines technical knowledge with sales skills. The balance depends on the level of technical knowledge and understanding needed to sell the product offered in response to customer needs and requirements. Sales Engineers are a key point of contact for clients and provide both pre and after-sales advice.
At UNITECH, Sales Engineers are the primary technical resource for the field sales force. He must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. Must be able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. Must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.
