The Sales Engineer will be responsible for promoting, marketing, and selling the company's range of industrial products and solutions (Instrumentation, Valves, Fittings, Pressure & Temperature Gauges, Cables, etc.) to clients across the oil & gas, marine, and industrial sectors. The role requires a blend of technical knowledge and commercial acumen to understand client requirements, propose suitable solutions, and achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.
Identify new business opportunities and generate leads in targeted industries.
Understand customer technical requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and tenders in line with customer specifications.
Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and client meetings.
Maintain updated knowledge of competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
Ensure all documentation (quotations, POs, contracts) is complete and accurate.
Provide after-sales support and maintain long-term customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in
Mechanical Engineering
or
Electrical Engineering
(mandatory).
Experience:
2-5 years of sales experience in industrial products (Instrumentation, Valves, Fittings, Tubing, Cables, or related). Fresh graduates with strong technical aptitude may also be considered.
Strong technical knowledge in mechanical/electrical systems and ability to interpret technical drawings/specifications.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office; ERP experience is an advantage.
UAE Driving License (preferred).
