Job Description

We are currently hiring for a SALES ENGINEER to work in our GCC office in Abu Dhabi, UAE. We\'re looking for a sales engineer who is responsible for supporting sales executive in solution selling to prospects, executing strategic deals, modelling financial business cases, and matching customer requirements to proposed solutions. JOB SUMMARY: Serves as a liaison in the sales process when complex and technical equipment or services are involved. Possess an in-depth knowledge of our company\'s technical products and services and you should be able to relate this knowledge in a way that is understandable to non-technical customers. You should be driven to achieve your sales goals and should have excellent sales and customer service skills. Assist with the selling of complex scientific and technological products or services. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintaining extensive knowledge of the products\' parts, functions, and processes and assisting to close sales where technical expertise may be required to fit the clients\' needs. Consults with existing and potential clients to assess and understand equipment needs and systems requirements. Drafts or assists with the drafting of presentations and other documentation and materials that explain products and services to customers. Provides expertise and support to sales teams to communicate products, services, and client needs. Ensures that customer needs are met, which may include product modifications. Proposes improved materials or products to customers and explains benefits of changes. Provides support to customers and resolves problems with installed equipment. Prepares product orders and schedules deliveries. Assists with research and development of new products. Preparing and developing technical presentations to explain our company\'s products or services to customers. Discussing equipment needs and system requirements with customers and engineers. Collaborating with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support. Generating high-quality sales leads, following up after initial contact, securing and renewing orders, negotiating prices, completing sales, and arranging deliveries. Researching, developing, and modifying products to meet customers\' technical requirements and needs. Helping customers who have problems with installed products and recommending improved or upgraded materials and machinery. Soliciting and logging client feedback and evaluating the data to create new sales and marketing strategies to target customers. Identifying areas for improvement and communicating these issues as well as possible solutions to upper management. Setting and achieving sales goals and quotas. Performs other duties as assigned. SKILLS/ABILITIES: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent sales and customer service skills with a proven ability to explain technical products to non-technical audiences. Ability to apply engineering, technology, or other related principles to product sales. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent technical and problem-solving skills. Good leadership and team working skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in engineering or field related to products and services being sold preferred. Two to four years of related product or sales experience required. MUST be able to draw on CAD and have experience using it Job Type: Full-time
