A Sales Engineer plays a critical role in combining technical knowledge with sales skills to provide solutions and create value for customers
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct regular visits to existing clients and prospective customers to build strong relationships and identify new sales opportunities
Continuously monitor and update knowledge of competitor products, services, and market conditions to stay competitive
Assess customer requirements on a regular basis, offering tailored product and service recommendations to meet their needs
Prepare and present price quotes, negotiate terms, revise contracts, and discuss mechanical specifications with customers
Provide regular reports to sales management on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback
Maintain accurate records of business expenses and submit timely reports as required
Assist with tendering processes, including background research on contracting and mechanical specifications
Ensure customer satisfaction by following up after sales to resolve issues and reinforce long-term relationships

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is a must
